First Flight 07:09
Millions of suns illuminate the night sky. A loud siren echoes through the minds of all standing on the ground. With massive arms the sun touches down, burning crops. Bright eyes fixed of brighter lights. Confused minds wiped clean. In seconds we drop to our knees, baffled by the perfection we see before us: Angels in metal suits, Beings glowing in pitch darkness. The black eyes of our lords and saviors pierce through our souls. The weak and the willing. Give us knowledge and teach us to honor your blessings. Your presence we won't soon forget. They warn to honor the gods or face the consequence of abandoning your makers. Truth turned to story. Story to legend. Legend into myth. Myth slowing slipping into fiction. The old tale of time devouring what we believe to be true. The world will turn and time will forget you just as we did. Build a new faith to forget the truth. But soon we will have to face what we deny. Fire in the sky The world is covered with shining eyes gazing up watching-- horrified. They've come back to take hold of what they claim to create. Protect the weak, Console the worried, Shelter the children, And prepare for war. Now we know what we must overcome. Not gods, not angels, not perfection-- but monsters. In this hour we will rise up and face the enemy of mankind. Believe it or not we're going to die. No time to panic just aim up toward the sky. When you fall don't be afraid The demons are gone so welcome your God. Death holds not an option. The dreams are the only source of freedom. Imprisoned in this mechanical hell. Anguished and beaten we cling to life and write in blood, "Fear the future" Tonight we will wake up to face the truth. Our end has arrived.

Cold as Clay 07:13
Is it ok to think we are born this way? Is it my fault? I'm a little odd; I'm a little off. I opened my heart to the evil that whispers me to sleep. Grew a taste for the death. The lives of the weak are so easy to spot. Predatory instinct kicks in, advocating the thought. You would look so good in my bathroom tub. Yes, I'll decorate the walls with you. Perverted ideas: terror and gore, knives and rope, men and whores. All the cattle silently watching me pass through. Horror painted on their faces washed off by cold sweat. Clench your fists and mouth your goodbyes. Open your eyes. I don't want you to miss this part. Screaming won't do you any good and it won't make things go any faster. Shackled down in my favorite position. You're in the dark but you are not alone in this experience. I'm just as scared as you. Where do we go from here? Are you still breathing? Are you still with me? I hope you don't think ill of me, but I'll take what I want and leave you strangled. I'm so sorry for all the unbearable pain but I guess that's the point of all this. Separating the flesh from bone. It's an art I'm hoping someday to master. It's horrible the things I'll do to you. Dental records are what they'll use to identify you. There will be no escape from me. This won't end pretty so silently say your prayers. You were so easy to pick out from the others. It's something about you. A curious temptation you were. How was I to resist? You spotted me from across your city skies. I'm that moment you knew you were mine. The beauty is in the bruise. Your lipstick matches the blood. It won't help but you can look at me. It won't help but it makes me smile. Hacking. Cutting. Singing. Screaming. "You were the best I've ever had. My first and now the last. You were so special to me. A dream. A vision of beauty. But now I'll see you sleep, beneath stone and dirt. Goodnight my love." (I promise) In three days time I'll come dig you up then we'll shape our utopia. Build a home on your grave. You won't be alone, I love you too fucking much. You are my perfect lover. Cold as clay.

Before creation were the stars. Well kept abyss. Bright as gods they birthed a new sun, new world, new galaxies. But to make life creators must know death, sacrifice, and morality. Foolish designers ignored therefore we are born.

Shake the trees and catch the life Falling from the branches of this everlasting fountain. Ancient and strong, this ground will never break. So, take to the sky and build above the old. Warm, full, and rural. This party rages on even after the last man has gone. After every last child has died the life of our provider will carry on. We are not the creators, we are the created. Don't make the mistake our fathers have made. Block out the sun, starve the world. We'll siphon blood from sap to save our humanity. At the cost of our home we'll paint the sky red. Our lungs black from the smog, We struggle to breathe this poisonous, thick, vile air. Filter the water, it worked before- Before we fucked up trying to kill everyone. We poisoned our reservoir. Destroying more than we bargained for. What are we to do now? Left standing on a small patch of green to call our own. That's all we have. Burn her skin and she will regrow. Cut her limbs, she'll still reach her arms up to the sky. In bloom we'll cut you down. For the sake of the last rose, the last beauty the world will ever know, I can see the reasoning behind the extermination of all mankind. If predictions are correct this dying planet will soon fall. If we continue down this path she'll surly wither and die. We've over welcomed our stay. She can't take much more of our selfish ways. And now we're too fucking strong, we'll burn down a new home. Still holding on. Waters rising. Her fury's to behold. Stuck in motion. Seasons break backwards. Always moving. Never changing. Shift our land. Make us closer. Your natives are immune. Your delicious natives. We're not welcome into your wood. Your empty church built on loose soil. Mother Nature hear my plea. I'm begging you to end our suffering. My favorite seed you've out grown us. Oh, how we've failed to see. Tsunamis. Earthquakes. Tornadoes. Tearing apart our civilizations across the globe. Nothing will survive this environmental catastrophic death sentence. The remaining survivors will emerge from the sea. They'll bring with them a new human race.

Dry 04:29
The curse of immortality, It stunts the growth of the heart that beats within me. No love for anyone. No need. Friends grow old and old friends die. How can I face the worst part of a century all alone? It was a gift that quickly turned sour. After all the endless hours of elevation without the release of death. It's the worst thing you can dream. Needles sting with no wound to see. My blood's on fire without any flame. Withdraw and cringe in the pain. 200 years without a sober thought. Through the eyes of the wicked my actions seem justified. Lash out at the ones that are different, am I the normal one? Mortals have it lucky, they can end this suffering. Dead and withering. Young and strapping. This shell hides the monster I really am. My soul has died, my heart and mind refuse to follow. When the world perishes, I'll be left standing. Crawling out of my skin. I am dry. When the world perishes, I'll be left standing all alone. Crawling out of my shell. I am clean.
