Shake the trees and catch the life
Falling from the branches of this everlasting fountain.
Ancient and strong, this ground will never break.
So, take to the sky and build above the old.
Warm, full, and rural.
This party rages on even after the last man has gone.
After every last child has died the life of our provider will carry on.
We are not the creators, we are the created.
Don't make the mistake our fathers have made.
Block out the sun, starve the world.
We'll siphon blood from sap to save our humanity.
At the cost of our home we'll paint the sky red.
Our lungs black from the smog,
We struggle to breathe this poisonous, thick, vile air.
Filter the water, it worked before-
Before we fucked up trying to kill everyone.
We poisoned our reservoir.
Destroying more than we bargained for.
What are we to do now?
Left standing on a small patch of green to call our own.
That's all we have.
Burn her skin and she will regrow.
Cut her limbs, she'll still reach her arms up to the sky.
In bloom we'll cut you down.
For the sake of the last rose, the last beauty the world will ever know, I can see the reasoning behind the extermination of all mankind.
If predictions are correct this dying planet will soon fall.
If we continue down this path she'll surly wither and die.
We've over welcomed our stay.
She can't take much more of our selfish ways.
And now we're too fucking strong, we'll burn down a new home.
Still holding on.
Waters rising.
Her fury's to behold.
Stuck in motion.
Seasons break backwards.
Always moving. Never changing.
Shift our land.
Make us closer.
Your natives are immune.
Your delicious natives.
We're not welcome into your wood.
Your empty church built on loose soil.
Mother Nature hear my plea.
I'm begging you to end our suffering.
My favorite seed you've out grown us.
Oh, how we've failed to see.
Tsunamis.
Earthquakes.
Tornadoes.
Tearing apart our civilizations across the globe.
Nothing will survive this environmental catastrophic death sentence.
The remaining survivors will emerge from the sea.
They'll bring with them a new human race.
